Industries and People We Serve
OCRV Center works with private RV and camper owners, commercial fleet operators, municipal and government fleets, insurance adjusters and carriers, mobile business owners, overland and adventure builders, RV rental companies, and delivery and logistics fleets throughout Long Beach, California.
These groups want genuinely different things from a shop. A private owner wants the coach right and the claim handled. A fleet manager wants the truck back Tuesday. A municipal fleet wants the unit to match a written specification with documentation for the file. Treating all three the same way fails all three.

Read moreWhy We Split These Out at All
Most shops describe their customers as everyone, which is technically accurate and practically useless. The reason we separate these segments is that the correct decision on the same repair genuinely differs depending on who owns the vehicle.
Take a dented rear corner on a van. For a private owner whose vehicle is also their weekend transport, the right answer is a proper repair with a blended refinish that disappears. For a last mile delivery fleet whose van will take contact in that same spot again next quarter, the right answer is a sound structural repair with a finish standard appropriate to a working vehicle, done in three days instead of eight.
Both are correct. Getting them backwards costs the private owner a repair they are unhappy with and costs the fleet operator a week of revenue they did not need to lose.
What Each Group Actually Optimizes For
Private RV and camper owners optimize for the coach being right, and for somebody handling the insurance conversation so they do not have to. Timeline matters but it is secondary to the repair holding.
Commercial and delivery fleets optimize for downtime. The invoice is rarely the largest cost of an incident, and a shop that keeps a truck three weeks for two weeks of work is charging for its own inefficiency in a line item nobody sees.
Municipal and government fleets optimize for specification compliance and documentation. A unit returned looking fine but not matching the written spec means the job gets done twice and somebody has to explain why to procurement.
Insurance adjusters and carriers optimize for defensible scope. They are not trying to underpay a claim, they are trying to avoid approving work that was not loss related, and a shop that separates the two explicitly makes their job possible.
Mobile business owners optimize for revenue days. Every day off the road is gone, which is why coordination across trades matters more here than anywhere else.
Overland and adventure builders optimize for the repair holding under real load, which usually means re engineering a mount that failed rather than reinstalling the same design.
Rental fleets optimize for the booking calendar, and for documentation clean enough to support recovering damage costs from a renter.
Tell Us Which One You Are
This is not a formality. When you call, saying that you run fourteen delivery vans out of the port, or that you are a private owner with a coach you intend to keep for another decade, changes what we recommend and how we schedule it.
Shops that treat every vehicle identically end up serving one of these groups well and the rest adequately. We would rather ask.
Get Your Vehicle Looked At Properly
