Camper and Trailer Repair Serving Long Beach
OCRV Center repairs fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, pop up campers, teardrops, truck campers and destination trailers, covering structural damage, roof and water intrusion, slide systems, axles and brakes. Work is performed in shop in Yorba Linda, serving Long Beach and the surrounding region.
Towable RVs take a specific kind of abuse that motorized coaches do not. Every road input arrives through a hitch and travels through a frame that is lighter than a motorhome chassis, and the resulting flex works fasteners, seals and joints loose over years.
That is why towables see disproportionate water intrusion, sagging slide rooms and frame stress cracking, and why the repairs frequently turn out larger than the initial complaint suggested.
Why Towables Fail Where They Do
A travel trailer frame flexes considerably more than a motorhome chassis, and the sidewalls bonded to it have to accommodate that flex. Over time the seams work, sealant cracks, and water gets into laminate that was never designed to be wet.
The single most common towable repair we perform is water damage restoration, and the second most common is slide out work. Both trace back to the same root cause, which is a structure that moves more than the sealing systems can keep up with.
Running Gear Nobody Inspects
Axles, bearings, brakes and suspension on towables get deferred more than any other maintenance category, because they are out of sight and degrade without warning.
A bearing that has run dry gives essentially no notice before it seizes at highway speed with a loaded trailer behind you. We inspect running gear on every towable that comes through, regardless of what brought it in.

What kinds of trailers and campers do you repair?
Fifth wheels including toy hauler and bunkhouse layouts, travel trailers of every size, pop up and hard side pop up campers, teardrop and A frame trailers, truck campers in slide in and flatbed configurations, park model and destination trailers, and overland and expedition builds. We also handle utility and cargo trailers for structural, floor and door work.
Why do travel trailers get so much water damage?
Because they flex more than motorhomes do. A trailer frame moves considerably under road input, and the bonded sidewalls have to accommodate that movement. Over years the seams work, sealant cracks and water reaches laminate that was never meant to be wet. It is the single most common repair category on towables, and catching it early is the entire difference between a modest repair and a structural rebuild.
